IRA is one of the key bands in Polish rock, founded in 1987 in Radom. They debuted in Opole, and their albums—from IRA (1989) to Jutro (2021)—sold in the thousands. Breakthrough records Mój dom and 1993 cemented their position. In the late ’90s, the band shifted to a heavier sound before going on hiatus. They returned in 2003 to a warm reception. Today, IRA blends strong guitar riffs with rock ballads, appealing to a broad audience.
